Jackson Browne’s latest album, The Naked Ride Home, offers a poignant portrait of the highs and lows of romance, and he’ll stop by the studio for a conversation about the record. He’ll also discuss the No Nukes concert series, launched in the wake of the 1979 Three Mile Island disaster to raise public awareness about the dangers of nuclear power. Acclaimed classical pianist and writer Israela Margalit is used recording classical warhorses with the London Philharmonic and dramatizing the lives of beloved composers in such award-winning TV specials as The Immortal Beethoven. On Thursday's show, Margalit will be in to talk about her new comedic play in which urban singles look for love while drinking way too much coffee.
The Naked Ride Home is Jackson Browne's 13th album, and his first album of new material since 1996.
