John Francis spent two decades walking across North and South America, spreading a silent message of respect for the earth. He takes host Majora Carter on a day-long walk across his hometown, Cape May, New Jersey. We get to know this man who has raised awareness and changed minds globally, a man who, no surprise here, chooses his words carefully - a man who has dedicated his life to saving the planet one step at a time.

Thanks for introducing the world to John Francis. His experience is a great reminder about the importance of simply "listening to life". When we do, we are less likly to destroy life of any form.
Thank you so much for this story.
I grew up in Cape May myself, but have not lived there full time since the 90's. I am forever homesick. About 15 years ago, I was walking the beach towards the Point with a boyfriend who was just getting to understand what was so special about the place. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, a man with a banjo was walking towards us. As he passed us, he smiled so warmly that it still brings me to tears to this day. It had to be John Francis.
Thank you so much for sharing his story.
