On the Road…Again
Sunday, February 25, 2007
Steve Post is "On the Road ... Again." The No Show's road warrior incarnate relates his continuing odyssey on the highways and byways of America. Share Steve's misgivings about the mysterious musician who spends so much time in rest stop restrooms. Be with Steve as he is embraced by the long arm of Indiana law. Listen as he begs, "Get this monkey off my back!" As always, Steve's musical selections will baffle and annoy you.
This program first aired on February 8, 2003.
On the Road
Sunday, February 18, 2007
Steve Post participates at an early age in that American ritual of self-realization and personal transformation, the cross-country automobile trip. Join Steve as he thrills to the call of the open road. Be there as Steve's father critiques the techniques of his fellow motorists. Listen as Steve says, "More sourballs, please." You probably could have programmed the music yourself, but we did it for you.
This program first aired on January 25, 2003.
Valentine’s Day
Sunday, February 11, 2007
It’s all hearts and flowers on The NO SHOW as Mr. Romantic himself, Steve Post, exposes the true story of the historical Valentine and his questionable behavior. Warning: this program is not intended for mature audiences and may contain material unsuitable for adults. In addition, the music may induce swooning.
This program first aired February 14, 2004. Love and kisses.
Contra Modernism
Sunday, February 04, 2007
This week Steve treats us to a repeat of his first interview with Emily Levine, who seems even funnier on second hearing. That is, if you think there are humorous possibilities in challenging the philosophical assumptions of western civilization, designing a Barbie Doll for intellectuals, and trying to remember the names of Snow White’s dwarves. We do, but then, we would. Steve also reads some listener e-mails which offer names for that awkward period in human life separating middle age from old age; correct some (but not all) of his past errors; and try to go for the second week in a row without any disastrous technical gaffes. (Suspense mounts!)
This program was first broadcast on November 16, 2002.
