Steve Post’s collection of shoes makes him the Imelda Marcos of public radio. As he says, “If shoes could talk…. Why can’t shoes talk? They have tongues, don’t they?” After tripping himself up, he is joined by naturalist Richard Milner, who gives him a heads-up on the 150th anniversary of Charles Darwin’s “On the Origin of Species, inter alia. Finally, Steve inducts studio drummer, Earl Palmer, into The No Show’s Musical Necropolis. A good time is had by some.
