The No Show
Steve Post with Bird Face
The No Show returns to WNYC for a 5 week run Saturday's at 4PM on FM 93.9 starting June 14, 2008.
The No Show is a showcase for the idiosyncratic views and humor of Steve Post, a world-class curmudgeon whose irreverence and iconoclasm have entertained audiences and appalled radio station managers for four decades.(Give or take.) The eclectic format of The No Show - featuring music, satire, news commentary and comedy - brings Post back to his early roots as a variety presenter at Pacifica Radio’s WBAI in New York. It was during overnights on WBAI during the 1970’s that Post’s acid wit, droll presentation and dead-of-night, anti-establishment tirades earned him a strong cult following amongst New York radio aficionados.
