Attention New York! Attention the World! "Now Hear This" is a casual and highly subjective survey of the popular music scene, with an emphasis on the best of the new. Host and show creator John Flansburgh, best known as a member of the band They Might Be Giants, is your guide for this unique glimpse into the multidimensional world of pop music. The show includes live performances, interviews with musicians and songwriters, spotlight on recent releases and reissues, and a special segment called Guilty Pleasure/Hidden Treasure where a celebrity explains their passion for an overexposed song as well as an unknown recording.
