On tonight's New Sounds, we take a survey of Sufi music, the powerful, mesmerizing devotional style rooted in Pakistan. Artists include Abed Azrie, the Mevlevi Dervishes of Istanbul, the Qaderi Dervishes of Kurdista, and of course, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the late, great Pakistani singer who gave many Westerners their first taste of Sufi devotional songs.
