Bang on a Can PCF Concert 2009
Saturday, June 04, 2011
From the New Sounds Live concerts at Merkin Hall, the Bang On A Can All-Stars play a new work by Kate Moore, and sonic explorations at either end of the volume spectrum, from the soft, almost subliminal acoustics of Alvin Lucier.
This concert, which was recorded in 2009, went out with a bang thanks to the squalling overtone effects of Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo.
