This New Sounds focuses on music that evokes a specific place. These artists have painted soundscapes for listeners. We'll hear from composer John Luther Adams (especially inspired by Alaska - where he has lived for decades) and also from composer/tuba player Tom Heasley. Icelandic composer Johann Johannsson also presents an image of his native country.
