From the Soundcheck archives, we'll hear live performances of music for string quartet by Fred Frith, Huang Ruo, and Sir John Tavener.
We'll listen to the Calder Quartet, the Carducci Quartet, and the Chilingirian Quartet, respectively. But first, there's music from Steve Reich. We'll listen to movements from his "Different Trains."
