Listen to groups that mix and match freely from many of the world’s different musical traditions on this New Sounds. There's pan-cultural music by Iceland’s Bardukha, who mix Balkan and Klezmer and from New York’s Tribecastan, who sound something like Arabic jazz-folk music. Plus London’s 3 Mustaphas 3, Israel’s Balkan Beat Box, and more.

This show was amazing.
Does anyone know where on the website I can find the link to the playlist?
The songs, played by 3 Moustapha 3, "kaba" is really a two part song, the first one, Kaba, and the second one a popular song in Albania. This is an albanian song, called "gajdexhi", or in english, bag pipe player. The kaba is also a popular instrumental play in Albania. I have listened the program New Sound for some time now, but all the references to the Balkan Music are made to some band in former Yougoslavia. The Balkan Music is a komplex and broad music with a lot of differences between diferent nations in Balkan. The Balkan music consist of turkish, greek, albanian, serbian, rumanian, and bulgarian music. There is also a considerable music of rome people (gypsies). The albanian music is also influenced from geography and is different from north to south.
