Andrew, thanks for passing this on. It is indeed sad news, though not entirely unexpected. Michael Galasso performed on the very first New Sounds Live concert, in September 1986, at Merkin Hall. I'll try to find that performance and post it on the site.

I haven't heard your last 2 or 3 New Sounds or Soundcheck programs, so I don't know if you are aware of some sad news. Michael Galasso died last week, in Paris.
