Yo-Yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble
We hear from a recent recording by Yo Yo Ma & the Silk Road Ensemble, "New Impossibilities," which interprets tradition-based and/or newly composed works inspired by the historic splendors of the Silk Road. Also, new music ghazals from the Indian-born Canadian Kiran Ahluwalia, who now lives in New York City.

Since the change as of 10/8, I am unable to receive the 105.9 on any of my radios. Is the station that weak? I am very disappointed.
My 2nd and 3rd favorite radio programs, Evening Music and Overnight Music, moved over to WQXR. I would appreciate it if my favorite program, New Sounds, also made the switch. Then order and harmony will be maintained!

Your show is always awesome but this one, 2839, was over the top super awesome. These words are often overused but they correctly apply to this latest gem.
