Thanks Jason. Galeet has been on my afternoon program, Soundcheck, and we've played some of Divahn on New Sounds as well. It's been a while though... thanks for the reminder.
just a great show. Our dishwasher broke and I wash dishes to your show every night. I don't really want to fix it now. It often reminds me of the Friday evenings when we lived in Chicago and we listened to Afropop Worldwide on WBEZ. Thanks. By the way, Galeet Dardashdi, a Brooklyn musician and daughter and granddaughter of Persian Cantors is a bit of an expert in Piyutim. You might appreciate her solo singing and her group Divahn.
