Hearing Solar Winds: 20th
Monday, October 11, 2004
From the New Sounds Live concerts, David Hykes and his groundbreaking vocal group The Harmonic Choir celebrate the 20th anniversary of their landmark work "Hearing Solar Winds" with a performance at the World Financial Center’s Winter Garden. The one-time New York-based ensemble, now residing in France, is known for blending Western idioms with the music of Mongolian nomads, and using natural harmonics, the "DNA of all musical sounds."
