From the New Sounds Live concert series, host John Schaefer presents the California E.A.R. Unit, longtime leaders of the West Coast new music scene. Hear an eclectic program of works, including Frederic Rzewski's seminal Coming Together and John Adams' effective Road Movies, all recorded live at a concert from February 2003 at Merkin Concert Hall. Also on tap are the E.A.R. Unit's performances of John Bergamo's riotous Foreign Objects, and James Sellar's accurately titled GO.
