A severely stuttering child finds solace in speaking to animals and vows to speak for them if he grows up to find his voice. Years later we find him as the world's premier jaguar expert, having a face to face with an animal in the jungle of Belize. Plus, a Texas tale of moon pies and bedazzlers, and the surprising story of a Harlem man who ends up at a rodeo in Oregon.

Note: Some stories are emotionally intense and not for children.

I heard a neurobiologist discussing a study about a chimp playing a video-type game and being rewarded w/a tube of juice when he participated. The chimp then refused to play and the researcher became angry, then felt guilty. The story aired around 9-10:00pm 8/7/10. I missed the beginning and the end of the piece and am very interested in finding more on this. Thank you very much, Jay
