Zachary Scott introduces a program featuring three veterans, including General Wainwright, discussing their experience in the second World War.
PFC Hannibal Irizari, a native American citizen born in Puerto Rico who was wounded in the head, shoulders and leg.
Staff Sergeant Lawrence McQueeny, who served under General Wainwright in on Corregidor.
Gen Jonathan Wainwright, who surrendered on Corregidor.
The four men discuss Irizari's injuries as an introduction to a dramatization of the events that led to the loss of his leg.
McQueeny explains why he is considered "100% disabled" and the events that led to his injuries.
Irizari explains why he cannot find a job in the US and suggests he may have to leave the country to do so.
Wainwright appeals for donations to the Disabled American Veterans' Foundation.
