Radio drama of the story of Paul Revere. Contains only the second half of the program. A group of men discuss the situation with the British with Revere. The men recite an oath to be true to the cause of the Sons of Liberty. One man (Dr. Walter?) tells Revere in confidence that they have heard plans that the British will move over the night. He explains the means by which they will alert each other if this does happen. Later, news comes that the British are moving, and Revere leaves home in a hurry to alert the others. Revere is stopped by British soldiers, who ask why he is out so late. He runs away and to warn Sam Adams and John Hancock, who flee with the documents of state. Revere joins a regiment as they approach the British soldiers. The first shot of the Revolution is fired. Revere talks to his wife about the impending war. "Give me liberty or give me death!"
