Other films from 1959: Some Like It Hot, North By North West, The World of Apu.
are these movies available on hulu.com or similar sites? it is frustrating to search hulu for good movies. a list of good french movies available online would be appreciated.
excellent interview, by the way. thanks.
I can't believe they chose only one Chabrol film--he's great! The French Hitchcock.
Also, maybe they should have screened some Robert Bresson along with Melville? He was influential to the New Wave.
