Knocking wasps. How original.
I was perturbed by the language used by Lynn Sherr during today's program. People are not "put" but placed into facilities (even if they are old) decisions about "what to do with them" have to be taken, not "made". Her flippant tone
made clear to me that she really does not believe it when she said"after all we will be old some day"
As an independent, active 83 year-old woman who still lives in her own house and leads a productive life, I was offended by her attitude. Yes, the play that was being discussed deals with this subject.Yet instead of applauding the character who still wants to live an active and productive life, the conversation focused mostely on old age and its negative consequences.
