tying in dada to today, if it's possible...
Leonard, I cannot believe the churlish swipe you just took at the students at LSU. Shame on you. You are betraying your own ignorance of Louisiana by asking Andrei Codrescu if students there are able to "get" Dadaism. You said something like, "I mean, Louisiana..." with a chuckle. The implication was that obviously, someone in Louisiana isn't as intelligent or intellectually capable of understanding Dadaism as a New Yorker. Uggh. Small-mindedness. What a provincial view you have just exposed in yourself.
The illustrious Bela J. Lugosi professor of English is nowhere near as fine a Dada as the prankster actor Boris Madoff, who really knows how to blur the boundaries between Art and Life, the lovable rascal.
