Costa with a "Z"
The Academy Award-winning political thriller, "Z", celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. The director, Costa Gavras, talks about making the film and how it became a critically acclaimed, worldwide smash and the winner of both the Cannes Jury Prize and the Best Foreign Film Oscar, along with fifty other international awards. A new 35mm print featuring a new translation and subtitles is screening at Film Forum.

Whatever happened to the film about the Vatican culpability during the Holocost? I saw it at the Paris and really enjoyed it and then it disappeared.
I saw this wonderful film as a 14 year old the year it came out and it motivated my political activism which started at that time and continued throughout my life.

Unfortunately I missed most of the show but I will download the podcast. I seem to have heard that
Costas Gavras is going to speak about his new film tonight but I did not get the whereabouts. Could you please post this on the show website?
