The title escapes me, but a brilliant documentary film was made about a woman who worked on Hitler's staff. It was a quintessential demonstration of the ambiguity surrounding normal people drawn into the Third Reich. Did Ralph Fiennes see this film when preparing for his role in The Reader?

It always makes me laugh when the interviewer talks more than the interviewed..

    THE EXPLOITER

    Got a sexy story

    Suitable for the screen

    Lacking only depth

    In any single scene?

    Take the trendy shortcut

    On which nobody's lost

    And cunningly just drop it

    In the holocaust.
