Neil Shapiro is on air too much anyway, glad he gave something up
Paula Zahn's absence from on air news has helped turn cable news into a waste land. When she handled the 9/11 attack off the cuff (as did Aaron Brown) on her first day on the job, it was a textbook lesson on anchoring. That she is an accomplished musician isn't surprising. I'm glad she's one of NY's crown jewels.
