i haven't read "chicago" yet, but would the author agree that what cultural divisions that may have erupted in post 9/11 chicago are part and parcel of the city's history as a rather racially-segregated place? (if this smacks of criticism of chicago, i can speak from having grown up there)
although not the critical issue of the show, histology is part of us medical school curriculum.your comment made it sound like an outmoded field.
Chicago has definatly changed since 9/11,
Something that should have erased racial borders has made them stronger. Plan to read the book.
