Roy Orbison: The Soul of Rock & Roll

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Roy Orbison’s widow, Barbara Orbison, talks about her late husband’s many hit records over his 4-decade career...and how he overcame many personal tragedies while he was enjoying professional success. She’s the executive producer of a new box set of Orbison’s music, “The Soul of Rock & Roll.”

I guess everyone's out getting cash to stuff under their mattresses.

But I just wanted to say THANKS for having Barbara Orbison on. Great talk about a great human being. I am hugely awed by Roy Orbison every time I hear him and see clips. But of all his considerable assets--I have never once thought of "great kisser."

Can't wait to hear the box set, especially the early works.
