Leonard,
Please ask Mr. Reid why Democrats should support candidates like him who have bent over backwards to oblige the Republicans in the Congress and to do the bidding of George W. Bush.
Here's just one example of Reid's cravenness:

Leonard,
This is to let you know I enthusiastically second the comments above by Marc, who, by coincidence happens also to write from Paris. How about that?!!---

Leonard,
Please ask Mr. Reid why Democrats should support candidates like him who have bent over backwards to oblige the Republicans in the Congress and to do the bidding of George W. Bush."
But, as is entirely predictable, we can count on Mr. Reid offering as answer simply nothing short of insulting to people's intelligence.
Mr. Reid should know--and probably does--that if his political opponents weren't even more outrageous and despicable than his party's behavior has been, he'd have been out of office a long time ago.
It's said that in a pseudo-democratic system (now hopelessly broken and ridiculous) the public gets the government it deserves. To deserve the likes of Reid & Pelosi, to say nothing of Bush and Cheney, is a truly damning indictment of the American people.
A week ago, I thought very seriously about renouncing my citizenship. And I'm still thinking about it. I can hardly imagine how I could be more disgusted by what America and Americans are today, for all the world to see.
Count me in as echoing the requests of posters 1 and 2.
Please ask Mr Reid about legalized prostitution in Nevada. Does he support it?
Why is the Federal government not making an effort to outlaw this cancer on society.
Please don;t give me a states rights argument, cause the Congress enforced a 55 MPH national speed limit, and a National 21 y/o drinking age, so they can also stop states from maintaining legalized prostitution.
Can you ask this man why congress is against impeaching George Bush?
Why do these leaders spend more time writing and promoting their books than actually doing things for the everyday average American?
mary,
'cancer on society.'
surely there are more important issues in our society. can't you find a hungry child, teach someone to read or cure real cancer?
Joe Lieberman IS A CROOK!!!
He wants a war with Iran. STOP IT MAN STOP IT!
You may have a caucus but you don't have any justice.
