There is a pretty large Taiwanese community here in Flushing/Elmhurst, Queens.
The way she speaks make me want to kill her just after 5 seconds of listening.
Well, what do you expect her to sound like? She grew up here and learned English through American influences. If you don't like it, change the station!
Having been to Taipei, I think it's a truly great setting for the subject. It also makes NYC feel like slow-motion.
