Taiwanese Criminal Underworld

Wednesday, July 30, 2008

Francie Lin’s debut, The Foreigner, is a crime novel set in Taiwan. It’s about a mild-mannered 40-year-old bachelor who becomes caught up in the Taiwanese criminal underworld thanks to his younger brother’s unsavory dealings.
