  after the wall came down the american empire started it's decline. we just didn't know it until 9-11

  when we became the "LAST superpower" other nations quickly concluded they don't need ANY superpowers. too bad we spent all that money on 'keeping the world safe for democracy' and so little on domestic investments.

  This idea that Somalia was the reason Clinton didn't intervene in Rwanda is nonsense. All that was needed was for Albright to call the UN and tell them to allow the UN troops there to seize many of the weapons that were being stored for the massacre. Just ask Romeo Dallaire, Force Commander of UNAMIR in Rwanda at the time.

  I cant understand why, after 40 years of Hijacking jets, simple policies like maintaining cockpit security and safty were not implimented.

  A multimillion dollar aircraft had less security features than a 20K car. Armored doors with peepholes as well as cabin cameras should haev been installed decades ago. The airlines had the technology and money to put an entertainment system in every seat, but not to allow te pilot to monitor thew cockpit and secure the cabins? 911 is the fault of the airlines and the airlines and the government agiencies that regulate them. YOu dont need 40 years of auto theft to have make you decide that there is a possibility that someone might steal your car. Thus 911 has to be looked at in a different light. Security was not the priority. That wasnt an over sight.

  Right now the "owners" of the USA are readying a policy that will transfer assets to their foreign partners. The evidence is all around us. Some of it will be "lost" in all those files that Haliburten is busy moving offshore in their "corporate move" to Dubai. This can't be stopped, it has already gone too far and the owners feel its for the best anyway. US foreign policy will be directly affected by this, in fact it has been for the past 20 years if not 30. If you dont factor this in in analysis you wil miss the mark.

  I live in NY now, I love USA. I think its greatest country in the world. But I don't agree with every thing about USA government. Only reason we went to Iraq is for OIL. We will do the same thing to IRAN. I think by year 2020. USA will go after IRAN. Same as what we did in IRAQ. They talked about Iraq for at least 10 years before GB took actions. Look at the maps my friend. We already got Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Only thing in the middle is IRAN. Trust me. Next war is coming.
