    Short Circuit.

People with autism often do not have "theory of mind".

Social reactions/interactions may seem "effortless" to most adults, but my theory is that we do the hardest work of our lives in our first 2 or 3 years, when we're learning exactly those things, along w/language, how to move our bodies, & how to interpret sensory information.

I am an adjunct lecturer in the school of technology and design city tech CUNY.

I teach a basic core Freshman class that many students are generall poorly prepared in science much less engineering.

Unfortunately subjectivity and emphasis on feelings and self expression in high school and time spent on facebook and u-tube do not help either young men or women understand and relate to the objectivity of what I consider the hard subjects of math, phisics, biology, and chemestry, all subjects that are difficult and require the concentration and self dicipline. The women who stay are excellent students.
