Actress Jennifer Ehle co-stars in the new film “Before the Rains,” set in the 1930s on a spice plantation in Kerala, India, in the midst of a growing nationalist movement. It opens in New York on May 9 at the Landmark Sunshine Cinemas and the Paris Theater.
I'm sure she's heard it a million times, but I have loved Ms. Ehle since "Pride and Prejudice".
This film sounds lovely and filming in Kerala must have been quite the experience.
I loooved Ms. Ehle in Pride and Prejudice. Just saw it for the first time a week ago. Her and Firth's performance got me to read Austen for the first time. Can't believe I've missed out! Thanks Ms. Ehle!
