Illegal Detentions at Guantanamo, Bagram, and Beyond
Since 2001, the government has detained thousands of people - at Guantánamo, Abu Ghraib, and Bagram airbase, to name a few. The legality of many of those detentions has been challenged repeatedly. We get an update on the status of illegal detentions by American forces.

Thank you so much for playing this segment. Those guys were the smartest I've heard in a long time. We need more of them.
Can you explore the International Court for War Crimes in the Hague? I may not have that right, the one that tried Slobodon Milesovec??? The one with the Argentine as chief prosecutor.
We need to talk about the potentiality for an indictment of Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld and anyone else who can be for violations of Geneva conventions, and UN Resolutions. I am particularly interested in the Geneva conventions that state that occupying powers must provide security to civilians in occupied countries. This is the supreme failure of this cabal in ignoring the Joint Chiefs. This issue needs to be discussed and we need to be prepared for the indictments that will come. We need to be better informed, and then I will start lobbying my friend who worked on setting up that court to move those proceedings along. We and the rest of the world will have justice against these war criminals.
