    Everybody knows that the so-called coup was actually staged by Chavez to smoke out opponents. Through this and the way Mr. Jones codes all of his answers to place Mr. Chavez in the best possible light it becomes very clear why your speaker was chosen to be a dictator's mouthpiece. My only objection is that he should stop thinking he is a success in trying to straddle the fence between mouthpiece and objective journalist.

    This sort of comment shows why it's so tough to find out whats really happening in Venezuela. The opposition relies so many wide ranging conspiracy theories to backup their worldview that it's hard to take many of their arguments seriously.

    I'm grateful that a journalist like Jones has taken the time to cut through the crap on both sides to present an objective, interesting portrait of a complicated figure. Great interview!

    Libby Lopate characterizes as "witty" Chavez's disgusting use of the word sulfur during his UN speech! It's about time this station returned all of the money it has pilfered from conservative through tax dollars over the years.
