re: "Lucifer"
Before cast into hell, Lucifer was an archangel, and the name means "bringer of light." Nothing sinister about the name as it refers to biology.
Kudos to WNYC for a very fascinating presentation by Vincent & David. I'm looking forward to the sequel to this fascinating description of scientific research into glowing, green Biofluorescence.
Scorpions are also fluorescent.
