Friday, November 02, 2007

Theodore Mann co-founded the Circle in the Square theater in 1951, and he's been there to guide it ever since. His memoir tells the story of how off-Broadway theater was born, recounting the Circle's most memorable productions, including work by playwrights like Thornton Wilder, Jules Feiffer, and Terrence McNally and actors like Dustin Hoffman, Jason Robards, Al Pacino, Vanessa Redgrave, and James Earl Jones.
