Valerie Plame Wilson Talks

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

Valerie Plame Wilson’s cover as a top CIA agent was blown in 2003 when Bush administration officials leaked her name to the media. Since then, she’s been at the center of "Plamegate," which has engulfed Washington and led to the conviction of Vice Presidential aide I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby. In Fair Game, she reveals her side of the story for the first time.

Hi Valerie. We all love you & Joe, and are very supportive of what you are doing. We also admire HOW you are doing it. So much more intelligent & classy than the other side.

How rare it is. A person that refused to just shut up and take the pay check. Kudos Mrs. Plame.

Am listening avidly, hope she will address the status of her lawsuit against the administration for outing her.

Santa Fe is quite a change from DC. Impressions, comments?

Sorry to have missed her at Barnes & Noble last night. Anything notable to report?

Why is it considered a "smear" that one's spouse works at the CIA?

The interview was much too short! Oh, well...

LOVE the links to previous related interviews. Great feature.

The screwy framing of the "smear" question betrays a nearly incomprehensible level of ignorance and bias. Too much talk radio! Start reading books (like Plame Wilson's for starters).

At least on the radio and while she is on the phone one can try and distance oneself from the fact her looks and voice are just too hot. That picture in Vanity Fair among the other still and video shots with the all american-girl smile, and rich-girl manicured manner, adds to that hotness and mystique, but it also brings on what she said on Leonard's show ' the CIA is still an old boy's club which recruit from Ivy League schools on the east coast (who by the way, want hot blonde babes around for eye candy at the office and probably more).

There is just too much weird about this story, and it comes down to what a previous person said something about "So much more intelligent & classy than the other side." This all was and is just partisan politics, which by the way, do not serve the people of the United States. What we are being fed is a democracy needs secrecy to survive, by her, a very watchable celebrity now, and by the new CIA chief in his military uniform, doing the interview circuits.
