What a horrible idea: putting an orchestra behind Ella and Joe Pass... What's the point?

The greatest guitarist and the one of the greatest singers in American jazz should be enough for anybody.

    Phil Ramone,

Much appreciation for your work on another TBS production, "An All-Star Tribute to Brian Wilson" back in 2001. Any thoughts on Brian's upcoming Kennedy Center Honors? Which song(s) should they definitely perform there, and who should perform it?

There is a book published which may be of interest to listeners

This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession by Daniel J. Levitin.
