Innovative Dance
Tuesday, August 07, 2007
Pilobolus was formed in 1971 in a Dartmouth College dance class. Now it is a major American dance company dedicated to the choreography and performance of inventive dance-theater works that explore movement and human relationships. It is now in the midst of an extended run at New York City’s Joyce Theater. Here to talk about Pilobolus are Linda Shelton, the Joyce Theater Executive Director, Itamar Kubovy, Pilobolus Executive Director, and Andy Herro, Pilobolus dancer.
