Nick Lowe, At Any Age
Nick Lowe began his music career in the mid-1960s, and his musical style has been evolving ever since. He recently told the New York Daily News: "I didn't want to become one of those thinning-haired, jowly old geezers who still does the same shtick they did when they were young, slim and beautiful...That's revolting and rather tragic." Lowe's new album is "At My Age."

Re: I trained her to love me: Perhaps it's about a dog. We think we own our pets but they actually own us.
I hope that song was about a dog, and not a woman!
LIFE IS A LEASH
Man's best friend
Is easily trained;
Not so a woman,
I've ascertained.
She has demands,
Her own agenda:
Down with phallus,
Up with pudenda!
The battle ends
And women sizzle
In middle age
As men start to fizzle.
Re: The battle ends
And women sizzle
In middle age
As men start to fizzle.
And hopefully those of us in the middle of this natural process can have a sense of humor about ourselves and each other. Love the lyric!!
