I used to do genealogy lectures for the National Archives, and talked about how the Palmer Raids altered the count of the 1920 Census. Recent immigrants were worried that they’d be labeled communist and deported. It’s interesting how history repeats itself.
Well, John, the more things change, the more they remain the same.
