Rudel Returns
Wednesday, October 25, 2006
25 years ago, Julius Rudel left the New York City Opera after more than two decades at the helm—including the 1966 move to Lincoln Center. Now, at age 85, he’s retuned to the conductor’s podium there. He tells us about the current production of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, and looks back at his lifelong commitment to great opera.
