"Awake in the Dark" was the most real-life experience I have had and read about the Holocaust in my lifetime. I was only a child during this time, but I read about and was informed about what was happening.

Since then I have read many books, watched commentaries on TV and listened to discussions about the Holocaust. Have been to Israel many times, also.

This book with it's poignant stories brought it to life. Many thanks for writing this book. We are hoping to have the author come to our community in 2008 through Brandies University the Commission for Jewish Education.
