Watching the World Change: The Stories Behind the Images of 9/11 (David Friend)A Picture's Worth
Director Kirby Dick brings to light the ways movies are rated. Then, we find out how images helped the world make sense of what happened on 9/11. And Gary Hart calls Democrats to uphold the values he thinks make his party great. And to start it all off, we get updates on Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo on Underreported.
Underreported: Following Up on Uganda and the DRC
On today’s Underreported, Gerald Martone of The International Rescue Committee gives us an update on the longstanding civil war in Northern Uganda, and the devastating effect it’s having on civilians. Then, IRC’s Shannon Meehan checks in with a look at the Democratic Republic of Congo—the country held its first free multi-party elections since 1960 in July, with a run-off election scheduled for October.
This Film Is Not Yet Rated
Director Kirby Dick shines a spotlight on the Motion Picture Association of America's rating practices in his new documentary "This Film is Not Yet Rated."

Please Explain: Eco-Labels
The Leonard Lopate Show
Your broccoli, shampoo, and air conditioner might bear labels declaring them to be organic, cruelty-free, or energy efficient, but what do those labels mean and are they true? Dr. Urvashi Rangan, Project Director for Consumer Reports' GreenerChoices.org and Consumers Union’s Senior Scientist for Policy Initiatives, and Dara O'Rourke, founder and CEO of GoodGuide.com, took a look at what eco-labels indicate, how standards are set, and what they mean for consumers and manufacturers around the world.
