Norah Vincent wanted to know how men really acted when they weren’t around women. So she cut her hair, donned a suit, and lived disguised as a man for over a year and a half. In Self-Made Man: One Woman's Journey into Manhood and Back, she reveals what she learned by going on undercover dates with women, joining a men's bowling league, and attending a men's therapy group.
