Gun Litigation
Are New York’s gun laws tough enough? In his inaugural address earlier this month, Mayor Bloomberg said that strengthening gun laws and cracking down on illegal guns will be a major focus for his administration. But gun rights lobbyists have taken issue with his stance. We’ll speak to two men on opposite sides of the issue to try to get a sense of what’s at stake. Tom King, the President of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association joins us, along with Michael Elkin of Thelen Reid--the lead trial counsel in the lawsuit the City of New York has brought against the gun industry.
Music: The Usual Suspects soundtrack by John Ottman (Milan) tracks 13 and 8
