Billy Bean made headlines by becoming one of the first openly gay players in the major league. He shares his experiences coming out while in the prime of his career, Going The Other Way: Lessons From A Life Of Major League Baseball.
Billy Bean will be reading and signing books on Monday, April 21st at 7:00 pm at the Chelsea Barnes and Noble (675 6th ave). There will also be a party at XL Bar, 357 W 16th st, April 22, 6-9 PM, open to the public.
