Last year I was in seminary in Israel and on the last day each teacher/rabbi gave us one last message that they thought was most important. Most of them were about upholding the Torah we learned and making aliya. In one of my favorite classes, my teacher Mora Tanya gave us the letter you wrote in response to a lot of the comments you got about your interview. She told us that when she was making aliya and at times it was really difficult, she would read your letter and it would help remind her of what shes doing and why. I still have that letter of yours, as I'm sure many other girls from my program do. I read it once in while when it feels like the whole aliya process is too hard, and America is awfully comfortable, and my parents will miss me so much. I read it and remeber exactly why having Israel is so important, and why living there is crucial. Thank you for that.
