John Kenneth Galbraith was one of the most influential American economists of the 20th century. He was also active in politics, serving in the administrations of Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, and Lyndon Baines Johnson. A prolific author, he wrote four dozen books, and over a thousand articles. He died Saturday, April 29th, 2006. We're so glad that he could have been with us on April 25th, 1998 to discuss his book, The Good Society.
