Guest Picks: Norbert Leo Butz

Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Actor Norbert Leo Butz was on the Leonard Lopate Show recently -- along with his co-stars Katie Holmes and Judy Greer -- to talk about the Broadway production of the new play "Dead Accounts." He also told us he's a fan of Gregorian chants. Find out what else he's a fan of!

What have you read or seen lately (book, play, film, etc.) that moved or surprised you?

I never saw the play, but Mike Birbiglia’s film “Sleepwalk With Me” was brave, inspired, and hilarious.

What are you listening to right now?

Right at this very moment?  Jimi Hendrix “Georgia Blues”.

What’s the last great book you read?

          “Canada”, by Richard Ford.

What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

I love old sacred music – Gregorian chant can be sexy.

What’s your favorite comfort food?

          Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
